Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Entrorent! By accessing, browsing, or using the Entrorent website (the "Platform") or making a car rental booking through our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and the terms set forth by the individual Car Rental Supplier.
1. Entrorent's Role and Services
1.1. Agency Role: Entrorent, operating as a travel agency, acts as an intermediary for booking car rentals. We facilitate the reservation process between you ("The Customer") and the independent Car Rental Supplier (the "Supplier") that provides the actual vehicle.
1.2. No Direct Rental Contract: Your contract for the rental vehicle is with the specific Supplier. Entrorent is not a party to the rental agreement between you and the Supplier. We are not responsible for the performance of the Supplier's obligations, including but not limited to the quality, condition, or availability of the vehicle.
1.3. Supplier's Terms: The rental is subject to the Supplier's specific terms and conditions (including insurance, deposits, mileage limits, and age restrictions), which will be presented during the booking process and at the time of vehicle pickup. By booking with Entrorent, you agree to accept and comply with the Supplier's terms.
2. Booking and Confirmation
2.1. Booking Process: All bookings are subject to availability and final confirmation by the Supplier.
2.2. Pricing: Prices are subject to change. The final price for your booking will be confirmed at the time of reservation. In case of an obvious pricing error, Entrorent reserves the right to cancel the booking and issue a full refund.
2.3. Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a final confirmation voucher or email from Entrorent.
2.4. Required Information: You are responsible for ensuring all driver details, dates, and times provided during the booking process are accurate. Incorrect information may lead to the Supplier refusing the rental, for which Entrorent will not be liable.
3. Payment and Fees
3.1. Payment: All charges will be clearly displayed during the booking process. Payment is due at the time specified (e.g., full payment at booking, or a deposit with the balance due later).
3.2. Security Deposit: Upon vehicle pickup, the Supplier will require a security deposit, usually via a major credit card in the main driver's name, to cover fuel, insurance excess, or potential damage. This amount varies by Supplier and vehicle and is not managed by Entrorent.
3.3. Additional Charges (Paid Locally): The rental price does not typically include extra items requested at the counter (e.g., GPS, child seats, additional drivers, out-of-hours fees, one-way fees, or young driver surcharges). These are payable directly to the Supplier upon pickup.
4. Cancellation, Amendments, and Refunds
4.1. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by Customer: Cancellation terms and fees will be specified during the booking process and are governed by the Supplier's policy and Entrorent’s administrative fees. General Entrorent Policy (Suggested): Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time may receive a full or partial refund, minus any non-refundable deposit or Entrorent administrative fee [specify amount/percentage]. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup are typically non-refundable.
4.2. No-Show: If you fail to pick up the vehicle at the agreed time and date without prior cancellation, this is considered a "No-Show." No-Shows are non-refundable. Failure to provide the required documentation (e.g., valid driving license, credit card in the main driver's name, booking voucher) at the rental counter will also be treated as a No-Show.
4.3. Amendments: Requests for changes to a confirmed booking (e.g., vehicle type, dates) are subject to the Supplier's rules and availability, and may incur a change fee from Entrorent, plus any change in the rental rate.
5. Vehicle Pick-up and Drop-off
5.1. Required Documentation: The Customer must present the following at the rental counter: Entrorent booking confirmation/voucher. A valid driver’s license (and an International Driving Permit if required). A major credit card in the main driver's name with sufficient credit for the security deposit. Valid passport or national ID.
5.2. Inspection: The Customer must inspect the vehicle for any existing damage before driving away and ensure it is documented on the rental agreement.
5.3. Late Return/Early Drop-off: Returning the vehicle late may result in significant late return fees charged by the Supplier. Dropping off the vehicle early is typically not refundable.
6. Liability and Indemnity
6.1. Customer Responsibility: The Customer is fully responsible for any tickets, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period (e.g., speeding, parking, toll violations).
6.2. Entrorent’s Limitation of Liability: As an agency, Entrorent is not liable for: Loss, damage, or injury arising from the use or condition of the rental vehicle. Issues related to the Supplier's failure to provide the reserved vehicle. * Loss or delay caused by breakdown, accident, or any other event beyond Entrorent's direct control.
